These are images I’ve captured with my Seestar S50 in EQ mode at Star Front. I have been using the 20 second exposure setting as it has proven to be the sweet spot with high quality and lower rejected sub frames. All images posted here have no external processing. I have only used the internal basic editing tool of the Seestar for color balance, exposure, black point adjustments. Also, I have used the internal AI noise reduction tool on all image.
Overall, the weather was mostly cooperative with a few good clear nights before and after the new moons in August and September. Which is prime time for astrophotographers. My experience continues to be fantastic with my Seestar at Star Front!
Here is a link to an article in Fast Company which I was interviewed about my experience with the Seestar at Star Front. Here is another story where I was interviewed about Star Front on a local Texas NPR affiliate.
