Bray Falls talks about hosting Seestar Smart Telescopes for remote imaging.
Bray Falls was on The Astro Imaging Channel YouTube Live last night talking about how different scopes work at Star Front Remote Observatories. Here he introduces the New Seestar Bar in building #6. Which allows them to host S50’s and S30’s for customers at a new reduced monthly rate of $99.00.
My Seestar S50 is pictures next to the white S30. Notice the red ASI 662MC planetary camera with mount that I use as a pier cam.
I recently moved from a dedicated stand alone Mini pier which I was paying $149.00 per month in building 1, to the new Seestar Bar. To date there are 8 Seestars live and imaging at Star Front.
My experience so far on the Seestar Bar has been great. One thing I really like about moving there is that I now have a very clear and almost un-obstructed view to the South Horizon. Being up high on the Bar, which I estimate to be 6 ft tall eliminates the limitation of the walls and extended roof.
The best thing about moving to the Seestar Bar is the new lower monthly rate of just $99.00! I was paying $149.00 for a mini pier since August. And to be honest, I was delighted on the mini pier. But now I’m ecstatic that Bray, Nate and Josh introduced the new lower rate on the Seestar Bar. I give them a lot of credit for thinking way outside of our universe and implementing new ideas to make astrophotography more affordable and accessible to everyone in the hobby and profession.
